As of 2011, Walk-In no longer receives any government funding.
We are now fully funded by revenue generated from our consultation and training services, as well as the generous support we receive from our foundation and corporate partners, and individual and household donors.

Donations
Your donation of any amount will help us continue to provide free, accessible mental health counseling to those who have nowhere else to go for help. We greatly appreciate the support of individuals and families who know about and value the work we do.
We invite you to make a secure one-time or recurring online contribution or you may mail your donation check to 2421 Chicago Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55404. If you wish to arrange periodic payments by check, please email us.
Donations to Walk-In Counseling Center are 100% tax-deductible, since no goods or services are given in exchange for your gift.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Giving to Walk-In Counseling Center is a meaningful way to honor a special person, remember a loved one or celebrate an event. When you make such a gift, you can choose to have an acknowledgement sent to an individual or his/her family.
Employer Match
We encourage you to ask your employer if they have an Employee Matching Gift Program. If they do, please take advantage of this benefit and stretch your donation to Walk-In even further. We are happy to provide any documentation needed to help facilitate your use of a matching gift program.
Give instead of get
If you personally have an important event coming up and have all you really need, suggest that potential gift-givers give their gift to Walk-In. They can do it online in your honor.
Bequests and planned giving
Please consider joining our Founders and Builders Circle by making a gift to Walk-In’s through your estate planning. A charitable bequest may reduce your estate and save taxes, leaving more money for your heirs, and give you the satisfaction of knowing that a worthy organization is benefiting from your generosity.
